Project Visibility is a training to help service providers become more informed, sensitive to, and supportive of the needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender older adults and their families. The vast majority of LGBTO+ older adults have lived through discrimination, social stigma, and the effects of prejudice, both past and present. This historical trauma has disrupted their lives and made them mistrustful of health care professionals and service providers.
