This April, Arizona students experienced a major win with the repeal of the state’s antiquated ban on LGBTQ-inclusive education. Unfortunately, TUSD’s plans to incorporate LGBTQ-inclusive curriculum are being undermined by anti-LGBTQ groups who have shown up in large numbers to protest inclusive policies. We urge you to show up on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 for LGBTQ students at TUSD’s FINAL MEETING to consider LGBTQ-inclusive curriculum – to ensure all students will have an opportunity to receive a science-based, age-appropriate education that prepares them for health and success.
