Because arts, culture and history are important to us, we offer a variety of opportunities to celebrate our LGBTQI+ community. We also promote events and programs offered by other welcoming organizations.

ANNUAL “WORDS OF WISDOM” POETRY READING

The annual Senior Pride Words of Wisdom poetry event brings together the diverse voices of local poets who express universal themes.

WRITING

Senior Pride partners with writers, poets and other community artists to bring writing opportunities to LGBTQI+ older adults and showcase their work.

We search for relevant and outstanding films and organize film screenings in Tucson, hosting producers and directors when possible.
