Social and Learning

Social and learning opportunities for our LGBTQI+ older adult community are a key part of Senior Pride’s programming. We offer regularly scheduled events and promote opportunities offered by other welcoming organizations that may be of particular interest to our community.

SENIOR PRIDE BOOK CLUB

3rd Wednesday of each month, 2-3:30pm
Due to COVID-19, the Senior Pride Book Club meets via Zoom.
If you would like a Zoom invitation, email us: info@soazseniorpride.org

Enjoy companionship and engage in lively discussions about a wide variety of books. Our group is diverse and welcomes all who share our interest in reading and discussing fiction and non-fiction.

SOCIAL AND CULTURAL EVENTS COMMITTEE

The Social and Cultural Events Committee brainstorms, proposes, and produces events throughout the year that speak to broadly defined cultural topics. This committee organizes identity-affirming workshops and activities as well as advocacy-related events, writing workshops, an annual film shown at the Loft, and periodic tours of local museums. Both our Social and Learning and Arts and Culture programs rely on this committee for programming.
